An Increasing Number of Scientists are Beginning to Discount Evolution Theory - One Christian Man Sets Out to Prove That Evolution is in Fact a Reality and is Taking Place at This Very Moment
September 13, 2004 -- On April 25, 2003, I first had the idea of putting my journal online for everyone to see. This journal was to be strictly a financial record of various investment ideas and transactions. The idea came to me while imagining being able to learn, not from but with, some of the world's most powerful people before they became the power brokers they are today. What would it have been worth to me to learn from such people in real time as they did their deals and made their decisions before they made their first million? What were their thought processes? What did they fear? How did they deal with that fear? My idea was to do what no one else has done. A true rags-to-riches story done in real time! There is not a question in mind as to where I am headed.
The financial information I am prepared to share with the world may not be worth very much right now. I am completely aware of that. But, as my wealth accelerates over the coming months and years, as I believe it will, this information may very well prove priceless to someone looking to go down the road I find myself starting out on.
This journal is not merely about a man searching for monetary wealth. It is about a man who is, daily, being literally transformed. It is more than just ideas and strategies. Truthfully, ideas and strategies are the easy part. Once you have gotten your mind in a place where it can receive and effectively use that information the rest, I am beginning to believe, is very simply a matter of plugging the proper information into the proper formula. The trick from what I have experienced is getting your mind to think in a different way. Remember, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over an over again expecting a different outcome each time you do it. This journal is about doing things differently – vastly differently from the norm. It is about change. Part of growth and development is realizing that what made sense to you yesterday may not work today, then making strides to correct the deficiency.
My life may not be very entertaining, but I believe it can serve as a useful tool of sorts to help others through various trials that we inevitably must go through as human beings. That is what this "Living Journal" is all about. I do not pretend to know much. I just have these thoughts that I hope will help others make some new distinctions about their existence on this planet. I am well aware of the fact that what I am embarking on may lead to some personal pain as I expose myself to the world – or to whomever happens to be reading these words at any given time.
Here is what I intend to do. I intend to lay myself completely open like a book to be read and, possibly, criticized by anyone with the desire to do so. I intend to be completely transparent as I divulge intimate details about my spiritual, personal, and financial life. I believe that it is important for not only the world in general, but also for the Church – the Body of Christ – to understand that once you have given your life over to Jesus you do not cease being who you are.
I am attempting to show both the world and the Church that to be Christian does not mean that you cease to be human (i.e., to become infallible). I have, and will continue to, stumble. However, people are experiencing hell right now on earth, then dying in those hellish circumstances, yet we Christians have the nerve to look down our pathetic noses at people who are suffering as if they deserve to suffer. Damn it, if that's the case, then we all deserve to suffer. No man is righteous…not one! How dare we, as Christians, sit back on our precious assets and decide who lives and who dies.
So, what I would like the reader to take away from this "Living Journal" is, essentially, the evolution of a man. The progressive changes that occur as one man makes new distinctions about life as a whole and attempts to act on those new ways of thinking spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and, yes, financially. You are welcome to walk along with me for as long as you choose.
