Screw You Donald- I Quit! – Donald Trump Parody T-Shirts

April 2, 2004 -- Donald Trump doesn't know Amanda Willshire and probably wouldn't hire her- or fire her- if he did.

After all, Amanda's lifestyle and beliefs don't take to Mr. Trump's business ethics or his personal fascination with garish opulence and celebrity status. In fact, Ms. Willshire, a graphic designer for The Millennium Group in Loveland, Colorado, calls Mr. Trump the "King of Kitch".

Driving to work one day, Amanda heard a radio report about Trump's plans to trademark the phrase "You're fired." Those two words have gained new popularity as the show-stealing line uttered at the end of each episode of NBC's hit TV show "The Apprentice." When she learned that Bloomingdales was selling "Your Fired" T-Shirts she decided to design her own T-shirts and post them on the web.

Now anyone who is not a Donald Wannabe can wear a shirt announcing "Screw You Donald – I Quit" or "Kissing Ass Is Not For Everyone". Amanda designed a spin-off website to The Apprentice, www.screwyoudonaldiquit.com, entitled "Apprentice This" where you can watch Donald grow red horns over his coiffure and a spaceship slip over a mountain skyline to send The King of Kitch a series of exploding bombs.

If it boggles your mind to think that The Donald apparently believes that the "Your Fired" phrase can be owned and he can collect royalties if anyone else uses it in commerce in any fashion, than Amanda invites you to wear her shirts—which she did not bother to try and trademark!

"Just wear one for the laughs", says Amanda. "When popular culture reaches this degree of insanity, hearty laughter is the only option."
