Actor Adam Nelson guest stars on The Apprentice
NEW YORK February 18, 2004--Adam Nelson recently produced and appeared in BI-Coastal 24 Hour Plays Benefits to aid the NY State WTC Relief Fund.
Performers included with Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rosie Perez, Benjamin Bratt, Billy Crudup, Mary-Louise Parker, Julianne Moore, Marisa Tomei, Kyra Sedgwick, Lili Taylor, Natasha Lyonne, Scarlett Johansson, Liev Schreiber, Robert Sean Leonard, Drena DeNiro, Catherine Kellner, Brendan Sexton, Jared Harris, Sam Rockwell, Fisher Stevens, Jane Adams, Christina Applegate, Jennifer Coolidge, Portia Di Rossi, Seth Green, Adam Goldberg, Jeffrey Jones, Ann Magnuson, Gina Phillips, John Ritter, Sarah Silverman and Ione Skye who performed six short plays, each written and rehearsed less than a day before the curtain raised.

Recently directed by theatrical legend Zoe Caldwell (Master Class) Nelson portrayed famed conductor Andre Previn in Dori Previn's Scitzofriend.
His film credits include Griffin Dunne's feature Lisa Picard is Famous produced by Mira Sorvino, USA Films Lesser Prophets (w/ John Turturro), the Slamdance feature Home Sweet Hoboken (w/ Ben Gazzara), Edward Vilga's Dead Broke (opposite Paul Sorvino), and award-winning documentary filmmaker Annick Vroom's documentary feature Starring Adam Nelson.
Best known for his work in Ethan Hawke's Malaparte Theater Company he has been associated with some of New York's grittiest theaters groups including The Adobe Theater Company, Naked Angels, Manhattan Class Company, Cucaracha Theatre, Circle Rep and Arden Party.
A consummate artist, he enrolled in Houston's High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Philadelphia's University of the Arts where he earned his BFA before attending Theater Certificate programs at both Yale and Oxford University.
